Lifeguards
The Lifeguard is a vital component to The Beach Ottumwa. A Lifeguard Skills Test must be completed by all applicants. Lifeguards will be required to demonstrate their skills and will be scored accordingly.

Validity
Summer passes are valid from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
- Use of individual pass is limited to the person whose name and photo appears on the pass
- Fraudulent use of the pass will invalidate pass permanently
- Holder of pass must abide by all rules and regulations of The Beach Ottumwa. Failure to follow all rules may result in the forfeiture of the pass and all privileges without refund.
- Children age 9 and under must be supervised by an adult age 15 or older to enter the park
- Children 40 inches and under are required to wear a lifejacket inthe wave pool at all times
Lost Passes
Pass cards may be re-printed in the case of loss. Replacement fee is $3.00

Directions to The Beach Ottumwa: The Beach Ottumwa is located at the corner of Highways 34 & 63 in Ottumwa Iowa. On Highway 34, take the Church St. exit. Turn left onto Church St. Go through the stoplight, and our driveway is on the left.
Lessons and Classes
BeachWater aerobics:Classes meet Monday - Thursday at 6:30 PM. This class is for all fitness and skill levels; we focus on toning muscles, strength training and flexibility. Our goal is for you to feel both physically and emotionally refreshed after each class. Must be at least 16 years old to participate in all aerobics classes. Only class participants are allowed in the water during water aerobics classes.
Group Swimming Lessons: $25 per week. Call 682-7873 for all the details.
Private Swimming Lessons: One-on-one swim lessons are the best.

The Beach Ottumwa Outdoor Water Park Beginning Monday, August 23, the Beach will be closed during weekdays. Daily Admission: $5 ~ all ages. Must be at least 48" tall to use the water slides. Summer Passes
Open: Daily through August 22nd - Noon to 9 PM
Open Weekends: August 28 & 29 and September 4, 5 & 6.
Summer Passes are valid Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Just stop into the Beach Ottumwa Office at 101 Church St. to purchase your passes.

Catch A Wave
At the center of our park is The Wave Pool!!
It's easy to Catch a Wave with more than 300,000 gallons of water!
It's all about exciting wave action and tube riding fun.
The Childrens Play Area
We haven't forgotten our small friends!
We have a special place just for our guests under 53 inches tall!
Two Slides, a Clubhouse and lots of things to squirt make The Childrens Play Area a great place to splash and play! Its always supervised by a certified lifeguard and has a maximum depth of only 2 feet.

The Beach Ottumwa is a beautiful indoor / outdoor waterpark located in Ottumwa Iowa. Built in 1992, The Beach Ottumwa is home to the boys and girls OHS Swim Teams, and well as the Ottumwa Swim Club's Barracuda Swim Team.
The facility encompasses 13 acres and over a million gallons of safe family fun.
The Beach Ottumwa offers exciting, full sized waterpark attractions normally found only at parks with prices 2 or 3 times higher than our low admission price.
