Vacation

Employees receive 2 Weeks 1 - 5 Years

Casual Leave

May use thirty-two hours annually (deducted from sick leave)

Sick Leave

Employees accumulate 2 days per month.

Health Insurance

Alliance Select Program administered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Iowa. Coverage of $100/$200 deductible 80/20 next $2,000 Alliance Select, deductible is waived and paid at 90%.

Employer is responsible for 80% of premium; Employee is responsible for 20% of premium.

Current cost to employee is $45 per month single coverage / $90 per month dependent coverage.

Dental coverage for employee only (dependent dental coverage not available).

Life Insurance

Equal to annual salary rounded to highest thousand dollar

Retirement

Officers participate in the Municpal Fire & Police Retirement System of Iowa.
