Top Step $23.58/hr. $49,046/year
Vacation
Employees receive 2 Weeks 1 - 5 Years
Employees receive 3 Weeks 6-12 Years
Employees receive 4 Weeks 12 - 20 Years
Employees receive 5 Weeks 21 Years or More
Holidays

Casual Leave
May use thirty-two hours annually (deducted from sick leave)
Sick Leave
Employees accumulate 2 days per month.
Health Insurance
Alliance Select Program administered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Iowa.
Deductible $250/$500, maximum out-of-pocket $1,000/$2,000
Alliance Select, deductible is waived and paid at 90%.
Employer is responsible for 90% of premium / Employee is responsible for 10% of premium
Current cost to employee is: $60 per month single coverage; $140 per month dependent coverage Dental coverage for employee only. Dependent dental coverage is available from Wellmark and Aflac at additional cost to the employee. Voluntary vision coverage is also available from Avesis at an additional cost to the employee.
Life Insurance
Equal to annual salary rounded to highest thousand dollar
Retirement
Officers participate in the Municpal Fire & Police Retirement System of Iowa.
