Caldwell Park
Due to budgetary cuts, Caldwell Park is being allowed to return to an upland oak savannah. Oak savannahs typically have a scattering of oak trees with a woodland flora under-story. The once common oak savannah habitats are seeing a resurgence through conservation efforts across the midwest.
