Description:
This project was for full width, full depth PCC reconstruction of Al-jon Avenue from Terminal Avenue to 1st Avenue and reconstruction of 1st Avenue from Al-jon Avenue to Terminal Street. Al-jon Avenue and 1st Avenue is the principal ingress/egress for the Al-jon Manufacturing Plant and is part of a development agreement for the current expansion. Additional work included in this project was the relocation of a storm system that was reimbursed by Al-jon Manufacturing in the amount of $18,753.15. A Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (R.I.S.E.) Grant was received in the amount of $148,000.
