Health Department Intern
City of Ottumwa, Iowa is seeking a Health Department Intern to work up to 40 hours weekly for 4 to 6 months beginning in April/May. Compensation - $10 per hour; valid driver's license with good driving record & drug test required. Reports to Health Department Director. Will work with inspectors performing nuisance inspections & providing notice to owners of necessary corrective action. May also shadow food and pool inspectors. College students and recently graduated students will be considered. Must be comfortable interacting with people & be able to use Microsoft Office Word & Excel. EOE.
