Wapello County Residents

If you are a rural Wapello County resident and live within two miles of Ottumwa, you may be eligible to have your trash and recyclables picked up by the City of Ottumwa. If you are interested in subscribing to this service, please complete the subscription form and return it to:

For $21.25/month county collection includes

• Weekly trash collection, up to 33 gallons; extra trash is $1/bag
• Weekly collection of bulky furniture, mattresses, televisions, etc.
• Weekly recycling collection and bin
• Monthly collection of appliances and tires ( call contractor for collection.  A $5 appliance sticker must be attached in order for the contractor to collect the appliance.)
