Housing Rehabilitation Programs

Two housing rehabilitation programs are administered by the City of Ottumwa's Department of Planning and Zoning Housing Rehabilitation Division. The Home Assisted Housing Rehabilitation Deferred Loan Program is a grant from the Iowa Department of Economic Development and assists first-time homebuyers. The Locally Funded Housing Rehabilitation Repayable Loan Program is provided by the City of Ottumwa and assists existing homeowners.

Applications for both programs are by appointment only. Please call 683-0616 from 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday.
