City Administrator

The City Administrator is responsible for ensuring the direction set by the City Council is implemented and that City operations are conducted efficiently, economically effective and that concerns of citizens are addressed in a timely manner. The City Administrator manages the daily operations of the following departments: City Clerk, Community Development, Engineering, Fire, Police, Human Resources, Operations and Maintenance, Parks, and the Government Access Channel. The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council.

The office of the Administrator is located at 105 E. Third Street. The office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

City Clerk

The City Clerk's Office performs a wide variety of services, which include issuing various permits and licenses, preparing City Council agendas and maintaining official city records.

Public Information

GO-TV Channel 6 is used to make announcements regarding official City meetings, notices, and services. Has the responsibility of broadcasting all City Council Meetings and Work Sessions and their re-broadcast.  For more information please see the Public Information Page. 

  

Human Resources

The Human Resource Manager develops job descriptions, compiles benefits packages, is responsible for recruitment, fulfills the staffing needs of the city, administers City employment practices including job evaluations, medical programs, and reviews personnel policies. Is responsible for labor relations and performs other functions that relate to the employee workforce of the City.

City Attorney

The City Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel to the City, to include the Mayor and City Council, City Administrator and all City departments.
